Accelerating Scientific ML with FUJITSU-MONAKA: Towards Energy-Efficient AI for Next-Gen Simulation
As AI shifts from perception to reasoning, Scientific Machine Learning (SciML) is poised to redefine modelling and simulation across industries. This keynote highlights Fujitsu’s cutting-edge work at the intersection of scientific modelling, AI surrogate learning, and scalable computing on heterogeneous architectures. Advancements in AI Framework Engineering optimized for Arm-based platforms will be showcased, along with the development of AI surrogates for complex systems and insights into next-generation SciML pipelines. The session will also outline key challenges and opportunities for collaboration in building trustworthy and generalizable AI across science and engineering domains. This talk will also include reference to oneAPI software stack to leverage interoperability across software ecosystems for accelerated computing as a means to unlock broader portability across hardware architectures – enabling the development of high-performance, architecture-agnostic HPC AI solutions.
